    Lizzy's Christmas tree

Post by Lizzy on Wed Dec 08, 2010 5:50 pm

This year I decided not to do a pink flamingo tree, instead I did an ice-blue and silver.

To me, it looks like it needs something else -- I haven't figured it out yet! lol!

It's very pretty, Lizzy! But maybe a few baubles (or some other deco) in a darker blue to set it off? Or maybe, if you're daring - and it certainly looks as if you are - something in ice pink or purple?

Some good suggestions, Beth -- thank you! I'll head out to the store tomorrow and see what else I can find, it does look bare to me.

Hope you're going to show us what else you have done with the tree, once you're done? Pretty please?

ahhhh...Katey! The flamingos are adorning a neighbor gal's tree down the street. When she found out that I was doing something different this year, she offered to buy them from me. After much thought, I told her that I would let her borrow them this year! lol!

I went and purchased more of the blue ornaments today --- don't you just love the dollar stores?! I will replace the picture I have posted later.

Lovely tree, Lizzy - very elegant. I really like the uncluttered feel of it. Smile

It is so pretty Lizzy, Haven't put ours up yet. Have a fiber optic for the TV room and will put up the live one in the Living room. Haven't decided yet.
Lovingroom tree is always done in Outdoor woodsie theme, ducks, bears etc, But have Mom's Optic tree also this year so thinking something else for it.

I love the colour, it's very pretty. I'd add a touch of blue and dusty pink.

Lizzy, it's perfect. I love the stars. They contrast well with the round balls and now the tree looks complete!
